Cameiro uses four hay processors to ensure the proper form of fiber for heifer growth and health. Seven forage-mixer trucks, with scales, deliver the Total Mixed Rations (TMR'S) beginning at sunrise. Frequent feeding of small quantities provides maximum intake of fresh and always available feed. This extra care minimizes heifers sorting their feed and eliminates waste.
