Cameiro Heifer Ranch was started in 1985 as the vision of Jerry Craveiro, a third generation dairyman, nutritionist and dairy management consultant. Jerry was recognized as an international expert and leader in his field. Jerry passed away in 2010, but his legacy of imparting knowledge lives on. The team he assembled carries on his philosophies and highly successful programs. The essence of who we are remains unchanged after all these years.

Cameiro currently serves eleven dairy producers throughout California and Arizona. We have evolved from a small operation in 1985 to a medium sized operation today. Our customers continue to send us their heifers to raise because we have cost effective, highly successful programs.

Cameiro's employees participate in frequent on-the-job training. Our library of current dairy publications provides topics for regular staff meetings. We maintain contact with experts at universities as well as private consultants, veterinarians, and others who serve as a ready reference should questions arise.
